WARM-HEARTED FELLOWSHIP
We believe that Christian fellowship flows out of the love that we experience and receive from God. We share this love with each other in all that we do and say whenever we gather as a family of brothers and sisters in Christ. We are intent on having regular and ongoing opportunity for warm-hearted fellowship for all God’s people—men, women, young adults, and children. We have a vision for Warm-hearted Fellowship!
Join us Sundays after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services for coffee and goodies! Wednesday night following the 7:00 p.m. service, tea and cookies are shared.
ST JOHN’S FOOD PANTRY LOOKING BARE!!
In the past month the number of families asking for food at the St. John’s Food Pantry has TRIPLED!!! Our food contributions have been steady this year—only now the need has greatly increased!Quicker cooking items are preferred, like: Rice; Dry Beans—Red, Black; Mac & Cheese; Rice A Roni, Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Pork & Beans, Nutritious Breakfast Cereals, etc. Canned vegetables are welcome. However, the “Green Bean Fairy” has overstocked the pantry! So think (collard greens, mustard greens, whole kernel corn, etc.). Granola bars and 100% individual sized juices are a big hit with the kids.Look for “Buy One, Get one Free”. Keep one for your family & donate the other; or, donate both. If you don’t shop for groceries and want to help, write a check to Nativity, or give cash (designate St. John Food Pantry) and your donation will buy food to restock the pantry shelves. Our Mission Quilters are in need of supplies to help them make quilts for third world countries. You can help by donating fabric, old sheets, fabric napkins & tablecloths, dust ruffles, curtains, valances & yarns. Our ladies have made over 175 quilts since the start of this year.
